Extraordinary intelligence? For a child it is often rather a handicap

The exceptional cleverness of a child does not have to necessarily mean a direct route to success, but it could also mean a lack of society’s understanding and problems at school. A high intelligence in children could for many of them mean even a social handicap, not necessarily the inclusion among the elite.
